| Welcome to Dance Depot , USA Dance Depot is a thriving studio in the city of Umatilla. We are a family oriented dance studio offering classes in tap, ballet, jazz, hip-hop, and lyrical for pre-school aged children through adults. We also offer classes in ZUMBA. Our goal is to help each dancer to achieve self-confidence, respect, physical and mental discipline, ability to follow directions and responsibility, never forgetting that enjoyment is key. We are continually striving to help each child reach their potential, fine tune their talent, express their spirit and love the art of dance. |
| Our History Realizing that a passion for dance and a need to teach could be fulfilled together Jolene Coates established Dance Depot, USA in August 2001. Jolene, the owner and primary instructor, is originally from Clearwater, Florida. Having always wanted to be a teacher, she graduated from Florida State University with a degree in Education and began teaching in Lake County. Her life long dance career began as a student of Phyllis and Gayle Tutterow at the age of four. She later became a member of their performance company Stars of Tomorrow. Jolene has performed in many cities including New York, Las Vegas, Orlando, and internationally in Denmark and Russia and at venues such as Sea World and Disney World. She continues to seek training by attending seminars and conventions. The studio has grown steadily and in recent years it has been reaching beyond the city and into all of Lake County. |
